| Thank You Richard Wright for everything you have done for the club. Whatever people say In my opinion you can hold your head up. Some on here will knock the efforts of the board but they have held us together and events of recent years show that this is not easy. For me exciting times ahead for the club. Take a directors role Mr Wright your experience and support will be needed by whoever takes the reigns.

| Best of luck to Richard and thank you for everything.
Divided opinion but never shirked away from the club and demonstrated how much he loves it over the past few years.
Like everything, things have to come to an end and many supporters have got their wish but I am glad to see him remain as a Director as his experience will be invaluable going forward.
New start, new era. Time for everyone to be on the same page now.

| As a person RW isn't a bad guy. However, as the CEO of any company you can't expect to make so many empty promises, miss so many targets, and miss so many target deadlines and still hold professional credibility.
There are many sayings that sum it up and a key saying in his case may well be....'It's not what you do, it's what you are seen to be doing.'....and RW in his time as CEO, was seen by Joe Public and Cas fans in general as a man who made far more promises than he actually kept. I'm not saying that it would have been all plain sailing behind closed doors at Cas, but a CEO should be the caliber of person to manage that situation internally, diffuse it, and present it externally.
Any way..as far as I am aware though, one of SL's criteria is that a club must have an appointed CEO, and hence lets see what the new broom brings....because there is a lot of sweeping up to be done at Cas.
All I ask for is less spin....more straight talking, and the balls to do...that which needs doing!

| So who is the smart money on for new C.E.O?....Ferres?, Robert Elstone?, Robbo?
Also should we read anything into Mal Reilly meeting a sponsor as seen on the club website and local paper?, somebody of his stature around boardroom level could be very useful to us.

| Steve Ferres please
Then stick a couple of somewhat wealthy RL people around him so he has some money to work with.

Part one is plausible, Steve is OK as a football manager and everyday administrator. If Mildrid is the problem as you suggest then Ferres will get rid of him. If he stays then either Steve rate him and you will have to accept that - or - someone else is pulling the strings.
Part two seems unlikely in the current economy without a Stadium and thus a guaranteed franchise.
And before anyone starts I concede we are only marginally nearer to that holy grail than you so not gloating.

Like the collapse of the ground sale after all his spin.....you could understand him seeking to avoid making that announcement.

| Well i'm quick to come on here and poke fun so fair play.
IMHO Steve Ferres is the right man for Cas and will help take you forward on and off the field, i'm not a close friend and i've only spoken to him half a dozen times but he's been at Wakey before and he tried to steady a sinkling ship. Yes it did sink but i can't blame him for that
I would have him at Wakey given the chance.
