| Ok Lets have a thread on the biggest game on earth, Predictions
I am neutral on this one as my Redskins are awfull at the mo
For me the Patriots were very lucky in the Semi, while the Giants just keep getting better.
This will really come down to the QB that runs the game batter and for me Eli Manning is on fire

| The Giants were even more lucky than the Patriots, they're only in the Super Bowl because of some daft punt returner messing up TWICE!
Patriots win by 3 (as they do in Super Bowls) and Brady becomes the greatest QB of all time.
27-24, MVP Brady.
First score: Green-Ellis

| Patriots win. They won't let the Giants do them over in a Superbowl again. They will be very well prepared this time.
Both teams have had struggles defensively this year yet they are both peaking at the right moment.
But even if the Giants D play their best game of the year I can't see them being able to effectively contain the two tight ends and Wes Welker. You can't double cover everyone and Brady doesn't make too many bad reads or miscues. If any one of them is even slightly open, he'll find them. If everyone drops back into coverage, he'll hand the ball off to the RB and kill NYG down the middle.
So expect to see a blitz-frenzy from NYG. The only way to take away all of the Pats' weapons is to flatten the QB before he has a chance to throw. If the blitz fails, it turns into a cricket score.
Oh, and NYG have to lose cos this Cowboys fan can't take the gloating of an divisional rival winning the big prize.

Do one if Baltimore hadnt decided to let the coaches Mam kick that ;last field goal you would be out, Brady by that point had mentally gone and the defense was like one full of Richy Mathers.
Manning all the way for me, Brady to bottle it again.

So field goals are now worth 4 points are they? That was a kick to tie the game, not win it.
Brady bottle it again too? When did he bottle it in a Super Bowl? Last time Neal went out at the start of the game meaning there was a backup guard in for the majority of the game and Mankins might as well have not shown up he was that bad.

The man himself said he's fine and will play.
There's no point in him practicing this week if he isn't 100% because he's still got over a week to be ready.

| Im a Charger <<<<<< gonna have to say the Pats but I would love the Giants to win it. Giants defence is playing great and as long as Manning has the time from his offensive lineman they could do it. Manning needs to stop throwing risky passes, too many interceptions.
Brady had an off day last week. Can I see him having an off day in a superbowl? No.
Highscoring game: pats 34-28 Giants.
Would like Giants at 31-27

| As a Carolina Panthers fan I have no real preference over who wins this to be honest, but as a betting man I would go for: -
Winning Margin: New England by 7-12pts (5/1 William Hill)
First Touchdown scorer: Green-Ellis (8/1 William Hill)
Just on a seperate note how did you all pick your teams? I have no connection at all with the US so chose my Carolina as they were a brand new team when I started following the game (1995).....and today I still follow them even though theyre one of the worse teams in the NFL (although with Cam Newton at QB I believe a wildcard spot in the play-offs is a possibility next year behind the New Orleans.....saying that I believe Cas have a possibility of a play off spot each year also haha).

| Friend got me watching the Chargers. We are the team along with Philly who are predicted to go well but fail miserably. Norv Turner at the helm doesnt help. We should but never do walk our division.

| Strange reasons for taking an interest in the Seahawks...
Felt sorry for them when they lost the 06 Superbowl to the Steelers...all game the media was talking about the Steelers and Jerome Betis playing his last game in his home town, then I thought they got some real duff calls from the officials (as a Cas fan i can relate to that).
A city that gave the world Hendrix,Cobain and Grohl can't be bad
The crowd are a loyal and noisey lot...regularly sell out their home games even through the lean years (which are many).
