If you read rlthisrl, and look at the bottom, Nathan Brown would disagree.

| Classic lazy journalism from Schofield and all too typical of the man. I presume he was referring to Rangi Chase as our 'one man team'?
As a long time Liverpool FC fan I'm well aware of the way the media likes to latch onto a single player and look for the slightest reason to annoint him as the MOTM in every game - for a long time Steven Gerrard had to only step on the field to be announced in the papers the next day as star of the show! It seems Rangi is undergoing that same experience now for Cas.
Don't get me wrong, on plenty of occasions Rangi is the star of the show for us but last night I thought he flitted in and out of the game. He did some trademark stuff most obviously his solo try near the end but also took some poor options in attack, failing to spot a couple of glaring scoring opportunities with the right pass.
On what I saw last night Rangi will have some competition for star man from Darryl Clark. He didn't seem to get that much game time but when he was on the field the play speeded up noticeably and the opposition didn't know how to handle him. His try was every bit as good as Rangi's too.
Rangi will undoubtedly be a marked man in Superleague this year so might struggle to make the impact of last year. Daryl Clark could well be our 'secret weapon'...

6 tries by 6 different scorers, did he not see the difference clark made in the short time he was on the pitch or the workrate of olli holmes and jon davies.
tbh i didnt think rangi had the best of games but thats just because of the high standards he sets,i hope all teams view rangi has our only threat cos we have plenty of players that will run a mock.
i wonder what price clark is for young player of the year

| Add to the fact that Rangi wasn't on the pitch when we scored a couple of those tries!

| Thought it was a good performance last night, especially our line speed and support play, the teams looks fitter and faster, good to see no new injuries, if we can get a few more bodies back for the salford game we should be fancying our chances, would be nice if a few coaches were daft enough to think chase is our only attacking threat as clark and orr will punish them if they do, think hudson and orr are playing like they want to finish on a high.
Some of the hudds fans are very touchy on there board, just because someone pointed out we weren't at full strength (when it was said that we were) and that chase and orr didn't play nearly the whole game (when it was said that they did). Some huds fans seem to have some sort of complex about being beaten by little old cas.
We have had two good run outs in the friendlies now and we seem to be playing with more structure, you can only read so much into friendlies, but things are looking good, if we dont have a crippling injury list through the season we should do well this year and being competing for the play offs again.
