Make no mistake we are against it like never before tonight but can you imagine if we get a result? it would surely go down as our greatest win in the regular season in the super league era with all the factors against us.
Cas have however given no indication of any great performance comming into this game so lets hope Wigan take us lightley and we can make inroads early doors.
Salford are breathing down our necks and at the very least we need a performance against the champs to take us forward into the next round so COME ON CAS GET INTO EM!!

Pure guts on display tonight with everything we could have hoped for performance wise and if a few of those video decisions had gone our way then who knows? Felt sorry for Greg Eden tonight as he was really left exposed to the high kicks out wide but ran the ball in well.
Ryan Mcgoldrick was superb as was Emmet and the two young props Massey and Davies playing against grand final winners and not taking a backward step. IMO we deserved a draw but "deserve"dosent get the result does it.

Correct. In addition, if you have your 2 smallest players on one side of the defence, of course they are going to get bombed. Especially when one is a young un.

Agreed, it was a shame for the lad as he was left exposed but I am sure we will be seeing more of him this season.
Fozzard and Emmet both injured tonight to take the gloss of the performance and our lack of numbers up front is a worry but Massey and Davies are both playing some good stuff so its not all bad.
Lets just hope we can carry this performance onto the next match.

Tbh I've never rated Massey at all but he has done well over the past few games

You gave us a proper fright tonight, and if you continue to play with the enthusiasm you did tonight you've got no worries about staying in the eight!!!!
