| Friday night. Massive game. We've got a couple of nasty fixtures after this game, we need to win it. They will be bang up for this after beating Wire / sniffing the playoffs. If we lose then I'll be a bit worried about our place in the 8, a win and it bridges the gap.

| On paper, we should win this by 16 in my view, I suspect betting wise we will have a 6 point start.
A lot depends on who is fit and how they play I suppose, with Snitch having missed a few and playing in the 9's tonight, I suspect that is to get some running in his legs to play Friday.
In my view if it is within 6 points, then Salford will get over us, if we win it will be by 16+. So my punt would be us with a start.
Agree with Towns88 though, massive game.

| Should be a great game, both sides more than capable of winning this one. As a Salford fan I'd say that home advantage might just pip it for us, although we are notoriously bad at getting 3 wins on the bounce.
Plus, it would be nice to get some decent forum discussion going after being bombarded on our forums with all kinds of Warrington bellends. God knows what it would have been like if they'd won...
Here's to a great game on Friday.

| Shouldn't take too long, but beware the Motorway traffic on Friday evenings. As for parking, there's a few organised car parks around the ground which are fine, and most of the side -streets that are not coned-off are also fine. Don't listen to people being worried about their cars in Salford, I've been going for over 25 years and never seen any problems.

Just to echo what the butcher has said, the whole don't park in the street thing is b*ll*cks. I've never seen any trouble with regards to parked cars either, I'm not saying it won't happen, but there's just as much as it happening anywhere.
With regards to the game - well its huge for both teams. I'm not carried away with our 2 good victories because I've watched Salford too long. We've not won 3 on the bounce since 2006 and its just like us to get beat in a very winnable home game.
Anyway Safe journey over and heres to Salford win

| Just ignore the Wire fans. They forget they once were as crap as we both are and think they've been a big club all their life. When they lose to us little uns it doesn't half hurt them! lol
The game should be a cracker. No doubt it'll get little thought though from anyone else in rugby league but it's a big game at a big time for both of us. Last league meeting for us at your place too so i'll be coming along one last time. Need to knock off an hour early too on friday and praying the traffic isn't too bad. Never had any trouble parking in Salford and I'd say you chance it where ever you go just the same. The first time I ever went to Salford I got lost and ended up getting to the game about five mins before kick off. I dumped my car and dashed for the game. When the game finished all the Cas fans went one way and all the Salford fans went another. Guess which way I'd parked my car! Turned out i'd left it in a not too pleasant street and had to wade through all the Salford fans to get to it. Needless to say I was pooping my pants. Car was in perfect nick, Salford fans were great in defeat and not a scratch on me or the car! lol

| Anybody know if isa and youngquest are going to be fit, would make a big difference to us if they were. Hopefully clark and holmes will get to play both fully rested and raring to go.

| Their coach openly admitted that they slowed the game down to beat Warrington. I dare say we'll be subjected to much of the same and rising above it will be essential, especially since a number of teams aren't being punished for it as the operational rules dictate they should be.

| from Andy Wilson in the Grauniad:
James Child, the referee who allowed Bradford to score one of their two tries against Saints on the seventh tackle, has been dropped from this weekend's round of Super League fixtures. He will be a touch-judge in Friday's game between Salford and Castleford.

| should be a good game, especially after our win at wire, and a few more floating reds fans might bother to turn up,ill go for a very close 26-22 to the reds, and like mention several times already....the whole parking thing is a myth!!! dont even waste 3 quid parking in a car park, you will be fine.

| Massive game friday. We lose and theres a big chance we will be out of the play offs in 3 weeks as salford have a couple of winnable games. We win and we go 6 points above 9th with better GD too with 9 to play.(as long as bulls lose) Could make or break our season. Huge game.
