Apparently the story about the WTWC score board being stolen was just a smoke screen, it was actaully repossesed as they couldn't pay for it. Youv've got to laugh.

TBH I seem to remember they called the police in, so if they knew it had been repossessed they'd be done for wasting police time. Hardly the sort of thing you'd do just after you'd taken over. Sounds like tripe to me.

I'll lay odds that not only could it be made up, but it is.

It is entirely possible that the score-board company may have been owed money when the club went into administration and came up with a hair-brained idea of removing it.... forgetting of course that the old company owed them the money, not the new one, and as such they would be committing a crime and be seen to be stealing a scoreboard that the new company now owned by virtue of the 'sale' of the club and it's assets!

I don't think it is true but if it was, they have been bloody stupid!

At least the home scoring workings are as 'good as new'

The principle of Nemo Dat Quod Non Habet (one cannot give a better title than he has) would apply if money was outstanding. If the scoreboard was on finance I would be surprised if Wakefield had title to it meaning the administrator could not sell it. What usually happens is the sale contract will provide for the transfer of the financed asset subject to the owners rights (including reposession). It is then for the new owners to sort out the issue. The administrator is absolved from all responsibility. If this is the case, what has been suggested is legally possible.
