Unfortunately for you the Trans Pennine Way is factored into the plans and will actually be enhanced - there will be walkways, cycle paths and even bridle paths across the site

As for our AGM, the details are not public but yet you make comments, maybe thats because yours always turn out the same and the begging bowls are issued as a matter of course.

My sources tell me it was a lively AGM! Apparently we are in for an interesting 12 months.

I think it's ironic that wakey fans can come on here and talk about the finances of another club; I think they need to concentrate on their own clubs finances before they try and troll on here! I mean, it wasn't Cas who couldn't pay their taxes, and had to sell a player to pay it off!

I think both our clubs are in the same position when it comes to cash (we aint got any). This is why I was suprised that Cas were still intent on trying to fund their own new ground as a private venture.

Depends what you mean by 'private venture'? There will be a large financial input from the sale of The Jungle, but there will also be commercial sponsors and space within the stadium for community ventures, very much like the proposed site at Newmarket? Reports suggest that the industrial units have to be built to finance the rest of the site?

You're right about NM as I understand it. The point I was making was Wakey will only be a tenant so it is not down to us to obtain finance for what will soley be a Stadium project. At NM it is a developer who will have more clout in obtaining bank funding who is doing the larger project and putting some into the stadium part and a community trust who will have access to wider funding sources then we would as a RL club
