only going by what i have seen on sky this year. but the kid really does not look to have pushed on. whats your say on him? has he slipped into the comfort zone now he has a fat 4 year contract ( think thats what it was )?

I think it's more a case of after his first season he was a marked man. Matterson tended to push him into the middle more this season and he really didn't have the same impact as running down the right channel like he normally does.

Generally, when he plays down there he does well - Harlequins away was a perfect example of this. Although, I know he is deeply disappointed by his form this season, but I don't see why. He's a Cas lad and he will be forgiven for making mistakes. After all he is young too.

Joe had a terrible head injury this year, has been played in a different position this year, which i dont think suits his style, but the lad will provide for years to come, that is if the coach doesnt nak the lad up thumping the ball in.

Really does make me wonder what the coaching staff see in Westy because its quite easy to see he is talented but as you say, thumping the ball in from some of the hospital passing evident last night doesn't play to those talents

Absolutely

richard owen was easily cas's best player. even provided the try for westerman. he did everything but put it over the line for him. he was no where near mom. owens defence, attack, hard work and tackling. imo made him the best player cas had on the field. westerman was average.

He's crap.

By this time next year all you people that shot old vasty down for saying fergy was far better that joe will have no option but to bow down and admit they were wrong.
Fergy is twice the player joe is. easily.
