| According to the Wakey site he's coming to us on loan and that is from a ( so-called ) reliable source.
Opinions ?

Herad the same a few weeks ago. He has been underpar recentley (last few seasons) i think but used to be a player i really liked, hopefully he can kick start his carear with us, will give us much needed cover for the halfs.

| I don't see how a loan signing could go wrong tbh. Decent enough player, we need cover in the halves, and he isn't tied down to a contract.

| Always rated Jamie, ever since first saw him as an outstanding junior.
We should have kept him a few years ago, but Steady in his wisdom decided he wasn't good enough for Superleague, think he's played well over a 100 Superleague games for Wakey.
Jamie can give us a number things we've been missing this last few weeks, he has a good kicking game and is a ball player and organiser, he can also kick goals for fun (so if Kirk is having an off day, we have an alternative).
I reckon if he had been in the side that played against wire, we would have come away with the two points. Hope we can get him onboard before the Saints game, at least to get him used to the other players and what they can do, fingers crossed!

| Worth a punt, especially if it keeps Sione and Goldy away from half-back and any sort of kicking/decision making role.

| I think he'd fit into Cas very well.
Cas are lacking halves and Rooney looks to be a bit pushed out of joint with Drew and Brough being the main 'chiefs'.
He's looking to be a chief and Cas need one.

tbf to JR if he gets more of a leadership role then i think he would mould into the cas set up.
if he does go then best of luck to him

| he would be terrible for our team, like he is for yours, if he is was any good youd be whinging like the biatches you are, you are happy for him to go and even wish him luck...says everything i need to know the bloke is pants and Steady did know a bit about what it takes to be a stand off. and also a very good full back, if we need a water boy the club should jump at the chance for his services, or even if the cheerleaders need a coach

no i disagree the project as failed having so many quality backs ect, rooney is not a 2nd team player yet neither are the rest . if wakefield could transfer this wage to another quality centre/winger then that would be a step in the right direction .
Jamie would work well in a cas team me thinks
