Is this not the worst Cas side ever? No conviction, No craft & No heart.

2nd worst video refs decision of the week, and one of the worst Cas sides ever...yes.

It's as bad as I have seen for quite some time.

Its prob the worst Cas team i have ever seen, what gets me is surely there is better young local players than some of them very average overseas players you have and they would cost a damd sight less, baffles me it does especially with the strength of the locval amateur teams

I can't remember seeing as poor a team as we have now and that includes the two sides that were relegated. I think that this season is now written off and hopefully Millward is actively seeking some decent players for next year. Half of the current squad just don't seem interested, and the other half are but just don't have the quality.

the two teams we had in national league were better than we got now, been saying it for last few years, iv'e never seen a Cas side that play so dumb.

It's been heading this way for quite some time. Even a season or two ago many raved about Cas's impulsive plays, off the cuff moves etc etc. However we've been trying to be so creative on top of fragile foundations. Our positional play, defence and other core skills just aren't good enough to support this type of play....or to recover the situation when it doesn't work out. We need to go back to doing the basics and doing them very well. I had hoped that Millward would bring some us some defensive structure, and he promised exactly that....but it just isn't there.

So yes....this is the worst Cas team for a far back as I can remember.

It just feels that way, the abject relegation seasons were worse than this.

It feels worse becuase there is more potential in this side than there was in the relgation teams.

Wasn't it only last season that you were being "big upped", didn't you have a really good first half/two-thirds of the season?
Or was it the year before, I'm getting on!!!!

Last year before a massive injury crisis, essentially the same squad as this year was up at the top of the league.

The only change? Coach...how bad is Millward if Matterson could get more out of the team?

Are we bad yes but worse ever ??? Not a chance 04 side streets ahead of any !!!! Both nl teams and the 97 team were all worse too

This i my point, last seasons team was lauded for what seemed like most of the season before dropping away badly and blowing the top eight. This season with the same(ish) squad they are being pillaried because they are struggling.
It's not my job to point the finger, but its a bit inconsistent!!
