Daryl Powell has named his 19-man squad to face Hull FC in the First Utility Super League at The Mend-A-Hose Jungle on Sunday, kick-off 3:30pm.

There are three changes to the squad as Luke Dorn, Kirk Dixon and Scott Wheeldon all drop out, with Jordan Tansey and Jamie Ellis back in contention.

Jake Webster is also named in the squad for the first time in almost a year. The 30-year-old featured for the Tigers' partner club York City Knights on dual registration last weekend in his first appearance since suffering an injury in the defeat to Hull KR on the 24th March 2013, and now looks set to play in black and amber colours again.

...wish Cesc Lynch didn't have that smiley every time.

Looking at squad numbers we aren't far off this week! My expectations just lifted a little icon_biggrin.gif

Will he start with Webster?.

That two day extra rest will help Hull I feel, and with our defence starting to buckle abit last week I think Hull might win this by 8+.

Hope I'm wrong mind, would be great to hit double figures in the points tally so early in season.

From my point of view I'm glad Dorns not playing I've always rated him very highly. TBF I liked Tansey when he played for us Jekyll and Hyde but always gave 100%.

The battle for the middle looks tasty although Feka misses out big gaz Carvell slots straight in so nothing lost there.

Can't wait.

On the Field Tansey was good for Hull, off the field he was a nightmare.

Cas + 8 very tight game but i think our commitment and attitude and teamwork will be enough to beat a strong side on paper but inconsistent on the field.

Not half. Seems to have sorted that part of his life though so good luck to him.

yeah he's been a consumate pro since joining Cas - think he realsied it was his last chance.

I think the two days rest will get this for Hull - for me that suqad is underperforming by finishing 6/7th in recent years so can beat/lose to anyone on their day.

We are making a habit of winning so who knows

Where's +8? Skybet & PaddyPower don't have any odds for the game yet.

But at +8 I'll be all over that just like last week - I'd be disappointed if Cas lose this game in all honesty.

I just looked on Oddschecker and can't see +8 anywhere also they are making Cas favourite at a best price 4/5 also they are giving you a -2 start at 10/11 so i doubt you will see +8.

Think i'll get splinters and sit on the fence with this one. Hope it's a good game whatever the result with two good sides battling it out on Sunday! Always enjoy watching Hull as well and should be a big crowd.

Cas 22-26 Hull
9602 att.

Heart says we will have enough to beat Hull - but Hull are the most unpredictable team in SL - can beat anyone on their day and lose to anyone the day after

Two games in two days would be taking liberties. icon_smile.gif

you know what I mean icon_biggrin.gif

Hull usually win 15 lose 12 in a season but IMO they should be better than that.

You never seem to string a run together very often - it's normally win 2 lose 2 against pretty much anyone. Strange team - it depends who turns up tomorrow.

Fine margins
