Todays Catalan vs Fc game has been postponed this afternoon. (very short notice for Hull fans who are already out there.)
If the weather doesnt pick up in the next 7 days we may well have the same problem. No covers were placed on the pitch so lets hope they sort their mistakes and get the game playable otherwise there will be many fans left fuming.

no chip at all,has a wakefield fan you should know only too well its one rule for one and one rule for the other.
having seen a picture of the pitch it is quite clear that the report of the pitch been watered on friday were true which then iced up last night.had this happend to cas or wakefield they would be torn to bits by the rfl.
a lot of hull fans will have planned and spent an awful lot of money to watch a game that was never given a chance of been played.

| Having seen that picture it clearly looks like they've watered it...how can you be so stupid to water a pitch in sub-zero temperatures and not cover it up  seems like one of the Hull FC employees has said they didn't even attempt to cover the pitch or even make it playable so there should be a rule against stuff like that. |

Not sure if I hope it is on or not? Catalans will be a good side, can't decide if it woudl be better for us to get them early on and after a postponement?
Would be happier if we had a front rower or two back if I am honest.

It's supposed to be 8 degrees in Perpignan this coming Saturday as opposed to -4 degrees last Saturday. That should make quite a difference! To be on the safe side though, maybe someone should advise them to leave the hosepipe in the shed this week.

Plus it wont be on, Orange TV have been pants for French RL but in June/July Al Jazeera take over and are promising big things ( Only 80quid for 12 months of Sport inc sat Premiership, NRL, Origin, pos SL )

It will be a very tough game out there for all visiting teams this year. I of course would love a Cas win, but we will need to be on our very top form and have lady luck on our side to get a result against Catalan. Hopefully the Bradford game was just the wake up call that the boys need.
