| Sorry if this is on another thread, but any news anywhere on Huby's dislocated elbow? Looked nasty, how long is he out for?

| It's a strange one, as I'm sure Craig has said on social media somewhere, Instagram perhaps, he's hoping fingers crossed to make the final. He says the elbow went straight back in and there is no other damage. I genuinely thought at the time it was a definitely his season, and if rumours are to be believed, his Cas career over.
I can't see him making it, and if he does I'm sure he may not be 100%. I'm sure Leeds fans know better than most after what Keith Senior did making the 2005 on pain killers, it's not always the wisest of ideas.

| Very hard to see how that extension of his elbow wouldn't have done quite a lot of soft tissue damage. Fingers crossed for him though.
Obviously his presence doesn't help Leeds' chances in the final, but he deserves to be there, and it'd be a real shame if he missed out. Had a great season.
Epic beard too. Which is to be applauded.

| Yeah - despite my username being The Doctor, I have no medical knowledge, but I'm with you - I would imagine it's very sore.
He has been a great servant to the club and has been through more downs than ups, so it'd be nice to see him finish at a big event in what is widely tipped to be his last season.
I actually tweeted him the other day and suggested that if he was fit enough he'd surely be up there with the greatest ever beards to play in Wembley Challenge cup final!

Really hope Huby is fit to play been imense for your lot this season and would be a shame if he misses out.
Let`s face it there`s not much chance of him getting to another CC Final with Huddersfield

| Huby will play through the pain barrier for this. This means everything to him. Obviously we wouldn't take any risks but I've got a feeling he might just alright. He's been saying he will be anyway but he's bound to say that I suppose.

| Hope he is fit enough to play.
And it must mean a lot to him. But Cup finals will find you out if you are not 100% and like it or not his injury will be well tested by the Leeds team, fairly of course

| You know if he does play good old dirty Leeds will be chicken winging him the first chance they can get, the ref will ignore it, Cas will be down an interchange and the commentators will pass it off as "gamesmanship".

| He did comment in the Tigers Bar that there was no ligament or tendon damage. As he suggested himself, plenty of ice and anti-inflamatories and crossed fingers.
I'm sure we'll see him walk out at Wembley with a bit of strapping on the elbow.

I suggest the rfl instruct Leeds to refrain from tackling him , fair enough ?

Hope the lad plays it would be tragic to miss a once in a lifetime opportunity. Michael Shenton thinks he may miss the final, and he should know after dislocating his elbow in the Grand final.
If he does play I would imagine his “crusher tackle” technique would be less effective.

Do you want some salt and vinegar on your shoulder as well?

| Thought Wigan were more known for targeting the knee rather than the elbow

| Leeds once played Keith Senior in a final because he said he was fit to play - we lost!!!
Never trust a player's opinion about their own fitness for a game of this nature.
