Balls not in touch, so it's a try. You don't need every finger on it to touch it down. He's got at least two fingers on it.

Like I said benefit of the doubt a possibility at best for makinson try. The Turner knock on was simply a joke and has completely altered the result of the match.

They should have stuck to their game plan as Powell said.
But for Wellens try the ref should surely have gone to the video review after having done so for 5 or 6 previous decisions.
And why does this keep happening in Saints favour? I remember a game at the Boulevard (ok, showing my age) when Saints took the lead late in the game with a try after Joynt had gone in touch but the officials failed to notice even though he got up from a tackle with white paint from the touch line on his head!
