| Have posts been removed regarding Ian Millward position at Castleford, I can't believe no one has posted on here regarding his situation.
Surely his position must be seriously under threat. We have had three decent performances this season, last season we had two, Huddersfield at home which we won, and St helens at home in which we were narrowly beaten.
The supporters voted with their feet yesterday, paltry 4500 which must be one of the lowest attendences ever at Whelon Road for a Super league game, and below the average when we were in the Championship.
The Board must realise that without people coming through the turnstiles the club is in trouble. Most of yesterdays attendence would have been season ticket and membership holders, so very little cash generated on day. The only way that we will increase attendences in this time of economic crisis is by winning and being honest. The last two games have shown to be not much difference from the Castleford of last year when Millward's excuse was that it wasnt his team, well now he can rule that one out.
He is running out of time, and the Board must act quickly. I wouldnt like to see anyone lose their job, but many coaches have been dismissed for far better performances than Castleford have show over the last 34 games.
Why he was given a 3 year contract is anyones guess, surely a rolling contract would be the norm, unless they have proven themselves.
I personally would like to see John Kear as coach, a local ex-player with a very good track record with less popular teams, Sheffield, Paris, Hull, Wakefield. He would show and instil passion for the club. We need to act fast and act now or it will be too late.

I posted on here before the first home game of the season. The wheldone road end became a no go area for non members and non season ticket holders. My family had been attending cas since 1981 and have always stood in the WRE or the NS not any more. We have been banned from where we like to watch our games from. The club has banned 6 adults spending on average £50 per game each from the ground. ( Entrance price - Beer - Burger ). With the attendance of 4500 I just wonder if others have said enough is enough. Four of us work shifts so buying a season ticket is not an option but at least when we did go to our home town club we could watch the match from our preffered WRE.

| nhs1984, i bought a bronze membership. Cost 50 quid i got 2 games for that and i can also go into the WRE. So for 50 quid and 2 game you could have stood in the WRE.
As for millward, 7 wins out of 35 games tells its own story....enough said.

You don't need a ST to stand in the WRE - a bronze membership would have had you set for the season.
You clearly aren't loyal either if you sulk and don't want to go to games just because you can't stand in the worst part of the stadium in terms of viewing the game.

Don't forget his horrific record at Wigan & North Queensland before Cas too. Pathetic excuse of a coach.

| Any one who comes out with the excuse of being banned because you have to buy a membership from the club are talking out off the other end off where all the burgers & beer goes, for £50 you get your moneys worth with discounts on other things.
At the weekend were on the telly so you can go to the pub drink all you want and slag the club until your heart is content, if or in some fans cases when we loose, then maybe Millward will be on his way & Donlan will take over for the next six or seven games.
One thing what can be taken for granted win or loose the fans will find something to moan about.

Why do you keep repeating this?
You only need a bronze membership (2 games) and you can satnd in the WRE all season!

| Lasts seasons squad Millward inherited, and he stated things would be different this season with the squad he wanted.
So with fresh faces in this year the performances were better up to the last two games...which have mirrored last seasons.
Players like Chase,Clark,Huby,Owen certainly played better under the previous coach, and haven't been consistent under Millward...makes you wonder why this is?.
I would give him 2 to 4 games to improve the performances....or we will have to let him go. Otherwise how can the club sell memberships on the back of 2 lousy seasons and no bright horizon in sight?.

I did not realise that it cost £25 per game to see Cas, or is the extra so you could stand in the WRE/NS.
I am off to see donny on easter monday at the keepmoat and match tickets for that are £25 but in that they are also trowing in Doncaster Rovers league 1 match before.

How much does a bronze membership cost, also remember I did say I work shifts so are not able to make all home matches.
As far as loyal it depends what you mean by loyal , standing as you say in the worst part of the stadium to view matches , that is your opinion. Then why is it S/T holders only in the worst part of the stadium. So in your opinion the people who decided to make the WRE/NS for S/Ticket holders put them in the worst part of the ground. Oh by the way I do not sulk because I am not allowed to stand in the WRE/NS I am unhappy at not being allowed to go where I want in a ground that I have paid to get into for the last 30 odd years. If that does not meet with your approval then that is your look out So keep your opinion to yourself and I will do as I please.

Being a member gives you a lot more than admission to the WRE, in the package you of course get 2 match tickets (for any two games you would like to attend or simply take yourself and a friend along), also a few goodies and something which surprisingly not many people have alluded to, that is the fantastic discounts you can get with a membership card at over 50 local businesses.
In fact the discount at a number of Xscape eating houses could be sufficient in itself to pay for itself in one sitting, then there's lots of other good deals at a multitude of other businesses, some of the discounts available would pay for the bronze membership in themselves.
In addition to all the above, you are doing your bit to help the club in these difficult times, without our help then we won't see the progress we all want to see both on and off the field and could see our once great club fall even further from grace.
If you would rather go watch Donny, then good luck, I think I would rather go watch one of the local amateur teams than watch Donny, even if the surroundings at the keepmoat are top notch, the entertainment served up certainly won't be.
COYF!!

| I've probably already saved the cost of a silver membership up at Xscape!
Great deal.
