I've noticed on the other board that some fans are calling for a protest at Sunday's game, it's not often i post on the forum and I'am not a member of the other board and have no intention to join, but i do know that some posters read this board. In light of the shock news yesterday I can understand some fans wanting to protest and everyone has a right to express their concerns in the appropriate manor but i think our thoughts on Sunday should be with Ian and his family, it was a year ago yesterday that Ian tragically lost his son and I feel our support for the Ian and the team on Sunday is vital more than ever.

No need at all why upset the players when their starting to jell, The CEO has left & thats his decision, he wanted to spend money the club could not afford, as he put it a multiple of changes, the club can't afford to finance.

Support the side definately, as for the current board?,....well bring in toy & inflatable dinosaurs (instead of the banana's) wave them about so they can see them from their seats....then a chorus of "our board....are all dinosaurs!" to the tune of Go West!...a cheerful and fun way but mocking in content.

Not an ageist thing i might add,just me opinion that they appear slow moving and a bit dense in the running of OUR club

Protest is not a bad thing, unsettling the players may well be. How about still cheering the players onto the pitch but everyone turn away from the pitch at the same time? Turning your backs to the BOD?

Don't know if that will work Jinjer. Any type of protest should be done after the game though IMO.

I'm still trying to find out what SF wanted from the BOD before his resignation before I take a side in this. One thing I do know though - if the BOD are just planning to carry on as we are (i.e. not planning for anything) then they should step aside.

My logic on that one was that the BOD will be in the stands waiting for the kick off, it would be apparent to all (press included) and would be quite a spectacle, on the other hand a protest after the game could be avoided by the BOD.

Good point, if well organised it could have quite an effect particularly for a televised game later in the season. Still need to find out about the fall-out though IMO.

Absolutely Tigerade, you need to know the full facts or you might end up with egg on your faces! I'd suggest the Pontefract and Cas express, rugby papers etc would be all over such a protest like the proverbial rash, people would begin asking questions!
