There may be a topic on this already but I havent seen it so il start a new one.
Signed for next season. Another back. Millward seems to rate him but I dont know alot about him as I dont watch much NRL. Anyone wanna enlighten me???

Roosters are my NRL team and since joining Carney hasn't lived up to his early promise at Canberra. He's bulked up significantly since then and looks more like an impact back rower these days. He suffered a badly broken leg in 2009 and has played only 17 times in first grade since. Maybe regular games will help him get back to something like but i wouldn't expect too much too soon. Has a tendancy to drop the ball a lot but if he clicks he will certainly make an impression as he hits hard.

Fantastic Player - Big stong running winger - causes all sorts of problems for the defence - Very much in the style of Fransis Meli - Can imagine your going to be a force outwide next season with the likes of Carney and Webster

He is a strong running winger but he's quite a compact build, might struggle taking kicks as he gives away quite a bit in height to most wingers. Maybe he'll be played in the centres? |

Not seen him play much I guess?
From what I've seen of him, despite being small he has a tremendous leap and has out jumped some of the taller wingers in the game to win the ball. |

I've seen him play a bit, not loads admittedly. I don't recall him being great in the air but regardless of whether he is or isn't he'll bring a lot of energy to the team |

Think Webster and Shenton will be our centres next season with Gilmour and Thompson providing back up when needed |
