I'd be disappointed to lose Arundel. If however it means we get Shenton, then I'd be content with that.

Got a bit of speed but not really got the size to be a strike centre. Can be found wanting defensively too as well.

why would Shenton want to come back to Cas when he his getting first team rugby every week for St Helens and a bigger wage packet? Doesn't make sense?

Perhaps Saints see more potential in Turner and are cutting ties with Shenton to make space?

In short, I don't know.

Shenton is struggling at Saints. Make no mistakes about it. He's struggling. Over the years, Saints have been treated some quality centres, world class centres. Shenton on his day is good, never a consistent class performer though.For 50 minutes in last years grand final, he was very good, since then, he's failed to deliver.

With that in mind, the question isn't "Why would Shenton leave Saints?" but more, "Why would Saints keep him?".

why would he come to cas of all places though?
