Plenty of work still to do in defence but showed real spirit to get back into it second half....well done lads

Looked much fuller to me. Hull kr must have brought have of what FC did.

Hull FC filled the Railway End too - it was empty tonight bar from about 100.

Far from a perfect performance but great to get the win.

It was all about the effort tonight and a willingness to go right to the end, which was lacking only a couple of weeks ago.

Plenty of areas to improve on though - defence still looks brittle, especially down our right side; kicking game leaves a lot to be desired and we could further improve our discipline and decision making. Whilst I thought we showed a degree a patience at the end of the game we still need to work on building pressure. On at least 2 occasions tonight we had HKR under the cosh but let them off due to poor kicks or just plain complacency/misjudgement.

Don't think anyone will be deluded into thinking we've become one of the better sides in the comp but we can now start to work on being competitive in most games. Whilst it would be nice to get a win at Wakey next week I'll settle for another committed and thoughtful performance - ideally a further improvement on tonights efforts - and see where that takes us.....

Great performance by Danny, Rangi and our brilliant forwards who laid the platform for a fantastic victory and many thanks our the best supporters in the land, who also played their part tonight!

The young Cas forwards laid a great platform for Rangi and Danny. Some of the passes from Rangi were sublime, ones that only a handful of players in world rugby can perform.

Well done hopefully it sets it up nicely for Friday. Get ready ready for the mud slinging session next week.

I thought we probably should have taken the penalty kick to level the game close to the end, but as it was we managed to get the last minute try to win. Our right hand side defence needs looking at, but i'm well happy with the effort and the win.

Looking forward to the game Friday, I think it will be a nip and tuck game at ours, looking forward to seeing the Tigers at the Rapids...

Our defence is still shaky, we may have got the win but we made it harder than it needed to be. Not levelling the game up to 30-30 was a big mistake, it put more pressure on us.

Good performance on recent weeks a lot more commitment, passion and desire to win and stay in the game.

Another poor performance from the referee, the amount of high tackles he missed for both sides was ridiculous.

If we perform like that (with defence stepping up) I think we can put a good performance on Wakey and hopefully come away with something.

Hopefully Danny and Rangi are ok. Noticed Danny had a mini fitness test just before kick off and had the strapping round his thigh. Rangi was being checked on constantly everytime there was a break in play. Johnny Walker had a very good game as did Mitchell again who is becoming a brilliant player for us, he does all the hard graft in defence
