| With other clubs starting to announce the signatures of players for next season, where do you think we need to strengthen next season? Do we have any targets?

| We need at least a couple of players who are absolute tackling machines.

| Depending on weather or not Danny Orr is up for another season i think we should definately be recruiting a scrum half, someone with a long kicking game, i.e danny brough, michael dobson like, Rangi is an awesome attacking player but we need a complimenting half to get us out of the mire when bogged down in our own half, the young lad from leigh looked a good prospect but hull managed to fit him under their warrington-esque salary cap. Another Prop forward is a must, a minimum 60 minute prop and a 2nd rower is needed, i think the in the backs we are fine.

| If he carries on playing the way he has this season, you will more than likely need a new number 6.

| As long as they offer a reasonable (and offer representative of his ability) offer at the end of the season.

If he does not gets injured and carries this form to the end of the season, then surely the money clubs will be knocking at the door, which I am sure will test the resolve of your board, whether they hold out or whether they crumble only time will tell.

Do us a favour and zip it, I'm tired of people on here trying to get a rise out of us by saying Rangi's off...quite frankly, it's getting old now...JOG ON! ta

I dont think he's trying to take the mick, more a case of your insecurity imo. You cannot have a player playing out of his skin every week and him not going unnoticed, nobody at Cas thought Weterman would go till FC payed all that brass for him, Chase would walk into most sides if not all of them over here, not to mention the Aussies and the conjecture about him leaving all the time is the price you have to pay for such a talented player hth.

| I think most Cas fans will admit he will end up back in the NRL at some point, but he has gone on record saying he is happy at Cas.
If he wants to talk to anybody at Cas about moving to a bigger club hoping to achieve honours he can ask Danny Orr...it didn't work for him!

| Anyway, before the Wakefield fans took it off topic....back to the original topic.
Off-contract: Dixon, Orr, Jackson, Ferres, Jones, Isa, Fozzard, Aspinwall, Massey, Thompson.
Therefore, I'd give new contracts to Dixon (2 yrs), Ferres (2 years), Thompson (2 years). Aspinwall and Orr have been solid so I'd give them new one year deals too. The rest I'm undecided on and ideally I'd like to see who we can get in whose OOC.
It's clear that Matterson sees Thompson's future in the pack. Therefore based on who's currently contracted for next season and who I'd give contracts to:
1: Mathers/Eden
2: Dixon/Owen
3: Arundel
4
5: Youngquest
6: Chase/McGoldrick
7: Orr
8: Emmitt/Walker
9: Hudson/Milner/Clark
10: Huby
11: Snitch/Holmes
12: Ferres/Thompson
13: Davies/Aspinwall
On this basis, I think we need two props, two threequarters, possibly another winger.
That will give us a squad of 26.

| A Willie Manu Type player and a Mitchell Sargent type from his first full season at Cas.
Would certainly full two key positions for next season
