If the team lined up like that i would be worried. Dixon is a trier but isn't a super league centre now, a new centre is a top priority.
I don't think Owen would be ready at the start of the season either.

| I think Jackson would get a place over Walker at the beginning of the year.

| For me we look very light in second row and centre, I know we have stated there will be 2 players but I would prefer 3!
I am just worried if injuries come in, I feel Orr will play 7 n rangi 6 with McG n someone new in centre, gives us a bit more solid backline, despite goldys defensive frailties he would certainly provide his winger with plenty of ball due to his time in the halves! Shenton wasn't strong in that department although Evans could he was mostly injured to reap benefit of it

| Dont think Owen will start or be ready for a while so reckon Dixon will get a start with Youngquest on the other wing with Jordan Thompson as back up.

| As it stands now with the current squad i would go with this:-
1. Mathers
2. Dixon
3. Aspinwall
4. Mcgoldrick
5. Youngquest
6. Chase
7. Orr
8. Fozzard
9. Hudson
10. Jackson
11. Ferres
12. Snitch
13. Widders
14. Milner
15. Huby
16. Jones
17. Emmit
Theres still Owen to go into that team, but i dont know what is current fitness is, and would think we would bring in a new centre to partner Mcgoldrick and then Aspinwall can strengthen up the back row.
Also i dont know how much game time we will get out of Fozzard, he has been quite injury prone in the last few seasons so Walker could see a lot of action.

23517.gif George Bush says 'we are losing the war on drugs'. Well you know what that implies? There's a war going on, and people on drugs are winning it! Well what does that tell you about drugs? Some smart, creative motherfookers on that side.":23517.gif |

The coaching staff aren't sure if he will play again.

46042.jpg [quote="Bonzo":23qz4bj5]Corrected.
Incidentally, an exclamation mark ends a sentence and does not require a full stop. The first letter of the next word begins a new sentence and should therefore be capitalised. [i:23qz4bj5]Who needs flankers[/i:23qz4bj5]' grammar was actually correct.
HTH.

Not sure I would have Orr AND Walker on the bench. I'd prefer one or the other with an extra forward on the bench.

| Considering one's a prop and the other is an hooker/half-back, why not? Unless you were thinking of Adam Milner instead?

An arrogant Wigan fan a few days before we stuffed them 18-4 at the JJB.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_42181.jpg |

| We've got a bit of depth in the forwards this year
Out of Huby Jackson Fozzard Emmit & Walker who would you drop?
Obviously not Huby as he was our best forward last year, Emmit played in the Grand Final, Fozzard brings some experience to the side and is steady. Jackson, solid and reliable. Walker, made some promising shots off the bench.
Personally I think TM will leave Walker out if we have a fully fit pack.
Owen won't be fit until April at the best so I can see Dixon on the wing.

Sorry, yea Milner
Walker and Fozz on the bench looks good. Impact props are like buses, none for years then 2 come along at once!

| That's the thing. People say we are short in certain areas we do have the depth. If we have a look at the following list of where players can play:
FB: Mathers, Thompson, Owen, McGoldrick
W: Dixon, Youngquest, Owen, Thompson, Aspinwall.
C: Arundel, Dixon, Owen, Thompson, McGoldrick, Orange, Ferres, Aspinwall
SO: Chase, McGoldrick, Widders, Orr
SH: Chase, McGoldrick, Orr
P: Huby, Jackson, Fozzard, Emmitt, Walker, Snitch, Massey.
H: Hudson, Orr, Milner, Clark.
SR: Snitch, Widders, Ferres, Jones, Harris, Holmes, Aspinwall.
LF: Ferres, Davies, Aspinwall, Hudson.
