On the Glasshoughton subjuect i know we really need this to go ahead to secure our super league future but could this be at the expense of the club. over the last 2 years we have seen the club strugle through with the smallest squad it can get away with, and this has obviousley been to hold as much cash back as they can to put into the glasshoughton coffers. But we are now starting to see this work against the club with all the unrest in supporters, and the amount of people i have spoken to over the last few weeks who say they will not be renewing there season tickets is very worrying. I think the club are in a real catch 22 at the moment and i really dont know if they are doing right or wrong, because if the new ground does not come off how much cash will have been pumped into the planning process that could have been spent on the team and developing wheldon road, because as i understand it we are not that far away from meeting the required standards. or on the other side of the coin if the ground does come off would that be the making or the breaking of us, could we afford the new ground and a fittting team to play in it. so basically i would hate for the last few years all to have been for nothing and to finish up with a team that is going to strugle to make a mark on the national leagues, but on the other hand i would love to see a cas team in a brand new stadium and challenging for honours, but at the moment i am leaning towards the first scenario unfortunatly.

Not the take up I'd hoped but thanks to tigerman10 and Half Full anyway..

Why don't you do a Richard Wright bakery collumn, where he bakes a cake. But he doesn't give a clear indication of how long it will take to cook, or what the ingrediants are, how big it will be. He can start off saying it is going to be a great big cake then half way through reveal it is only going to 2/3 of the size he originally planned. Trouble is if he doesn't get his cake ready on time, he will be expelled from the kitchen!
