| Fat and unfit maybe, but he is a decent player. Good tackler and runner and he does seem to be improving game by game. And (as you lot found out) he knows how to get over the white wash.

So fat and unfit he managed to cross your white-wash for the match-ending try at your place.

| Widders seems like a very clever player, watching the Leeds game on DVD the other day you could see him telling Chase that he was going to run in on the angle for that pass that sent him over at the end. He then moved behind the play of the ball and ran straight through the gaping hole in Leeds' defence.

Ditto that. Probably Kirk Netherton to fill the bench spot and Stuart Jones to be used in the back row rather than replacement dummy half.

Which is what I think we were lacking on Saturday. Soon as Hudson went off (on both accounts) we seem to lose direction.

Yes he is a loss, been one of our best forwards since he came over. He may look unfit but that is decpetive he has scored a 70m try v bradford, and a 50m one v salford before now, on average scores a try every 3 games, often while playing from the bench. He can spend longer times on the pitch than eastwood. When shifted to centre last year he was targeted as a 'weak link' but held firm (against hudds he made 40 tackles at centre and didnt let them through), and he was the differance between us winning and losing in several matches last year. How can you say he is overpayed when you dont know how much he is on?

| Spot on pyeman and the other guy. It might be a blessing in disguise losing Dean if we can put Stuart Jones back in the back row and use Netherton off the bench. Jones for me isn't at his bet at 9 and if Netherton can rediscover his form from the start of last season then losing Dean might not be too much of a blow. But Widders is a decent player and will always make my 17. As stated, his effort at Huddersfield last year was immense, he'd barely played a longer stint then 20 minutes then to go 80 against a very good Huddersfield team in which they scored once, shows he is a good athlete.

Ho! Ho! Ho! It's all fun and frolics this afternoon isn't it? And oh SO original too. Looks like you're up for the [iPerrier[/i Award this year.
[sizeYes it was irony.... I know they've not been the Perrier Awards since 2005. I just thought one tired old joke deserved another![/size
