We flew plenty of Spitfires over theirs as well but we didn't want their jobs and houses for doing it.

I'm sure you'd be welcome to go to Poland and get a job there. I think you'll find the Poles living in English houses are paying for them... accession state EU nationals can't claim any state benefits until they've lived here for three years.

Although nobody mentioned anything at all about whether or not Poles were receiving state benefits or indeed paying for the houses they live in. My remarks were directed at Polish immigrants taking the jobs and houses of British people in Britain.

I’m sure I would be welcome to go to Poland to find a job given that the majority of Polish workers are busying themselves reducing the pay, working conditions and living standards of this country to the levels previously enjoyed in their own country.

One of my best friends from school had a Polish father who was a really great bloke, there were a few others at school who had Polish parents and from memory all were really nice people, so come on guys, less of the racist stuff!

I've found that most Polish people are extremely hard working and law abiding and they don't come here for state handouts, they come here to work and very often do the low paid kind of work that the majority of our own people wouldn't do.

Wembley 71 has come on here with a valid cause, trying to promote Rugby League, the game we all love and we should do our best to help him and not get into a racist tit for tat.

It would be great to see another nation take up our sport.

I know a number of english people who are happy to sit on their a@@e all day and let the state pay them to do it, they wouldn't take a job if offered. I know a number of poles, they all work and work bloody hard.

At the end of the day we all live on the same planet, I hate this us and them mentallity. Do you ever see the Spanish up in arms amount the number of Brits living over there? Do you think the Brits are no good for taking Spanish "houses and jobs." Thought not!

Isn't this borderline xenophobia and BNP twaddle - my political views are one thing - but this is sport forum and a genuine sporting reason for the first post has been lost with every reply since not being about that and 2 war references and talk of benefits and economic migrants.

We didnt actually, it was the ruskis that liberated poland, although we entered the war when they were invaded, we didnt send anyone over there, they did more to defend our country that we did to defend poland.

I work with a lot of polish people mate and have tried to get a couple of them to come and watch Cas! l will gladly mention it to them on Friday morning. As for the they take our jobs balls,we just set 4 lads on and not 1 ENGLISH person applied.
