2009 The Year of the Tiger!!!! (In a rugby league year): |
|
| Its going to be hard to get last sunday out of the mind but in reality the players will have to.
Away at Warrington, i thought its was a little stroll in the park, however this time will be different, Tony Smith has them playing a lot better rugby and now look a tough side to beat.
I still reckon a Cas win. Your thoughts??????

| It's gonna be tough.
Depends on which team out of the 2 can recover better, both games last week was sap taking with the heat.
Never confident at home, and as had been said tony smith as got them firing. Lets hope TM can do the same for our team.
Anyone heard of any injuries i hope we have widders back.

| We are looking forward to it having won 6 of the last 7 games. TS had definitely made a huge difference since we last played you.
Our team shouldn't be tired, we didnt play the first half last weekend and we attacked pretty much all of the extra time. On top of this we will have had an extra day to recover.
I predict a close game with a narrow wire victory.

Before his injury he was just coming into form, making half breaks and breaks out wide.
Hes pretty fast over the first 20 meters and was putting our /winger into clear field. We've seem to have missed that while he's been out.
Also another experianced body in the squad.
I hope his injury asnt set him back and he can get straight back into the form he was in before he was injured.

I'm getting bored of agreeing with PM
Widders has had significant contributions in a couple of our wins this year, i've no doubt if he gets fit he will do the business

| I have got your main players down as Chase, Shenton and Sargent. Any others that might catch the eye, is Westerman still progressig well?
I hope you play like you did against Hudderfield again as i thought you made a lot of mistakes and Huddersfield didn't punish you enough

| Think your right With Shenton, Sarge and Chase
i'd say Mcg if he plays full back is pretty key as well.
Our main key player is Sherwin unfortunately he's out injured as is our captain and an other of our key players Hudson.

Because before he was injured he was playing well, i think it was bradford where he was instrumental in winning the game? plus he's a much better player than clayton who despite putting plenty of effort in isnt big enough to be a sl forward.

Haha that realy is comical Sherwin v Monaghan evens it up Monaghan is a great tackler but attacking wise the guy must have been a huge dissapointment for you guys, either that or he must play realy realy well when youre not on Sky or playing Cas. Every time I have seen him play his passing is terrible and his kicking game is non existant.
Evens it up, dont make me laugh.

| You're not wrong on Monaghan.
The key to our recent performances have been the pack - Morley and Carvell in particular, but the Andersons are also gonig through one of thier good periods. The Clarke/Higham rotation works well too. Of course, it all needs an in-form Briers to make it all click and he's been good. Mathers and King are giving us some real good kick returns too. (In fact, King is a real workhorse now).

I think Briers kicking game will be key for Warrington, it's also an area where we will struggle, as in the QF. Hopefully Briers will have an off day with the boot and someone will step up to fill Shifty's boots.

1883.jpg Didn't William Webb Ellis pick up the ball and run, someone should really tell Rugby Union.

| Good game on the cards for mine. Whoever gets their prop rotation correct, in what I will imagine will be a warm day, will have the best chance of securing the win.
You stay classy Cas.
