Setanta are cutting their NRL games down to 1 a week instead of the 2 or3 they can show. They advertise a minimum of 2 games a week for subscribers. They are doing this for the next 2 months. Apparently they explained to a Wigan fan that they were covering extra Magners Rugby Union games. I have sent a strongly worded email threatening to cancel my subscription if the NRL games are not reinstated. I don't understand this as it isn't as if they clash. Not many Magners games are kicking off at 08:30/09:30 on a Fri/Sat or Sun. Very Odd. I suspect more to do with the £10 mill they have just had to stump up to the FA for the soccer, apparantly got behind in payments & missed a deadline, than anything to do with the Celtic Onion.

Grateful for you flagging this up mate. I've been considering subscribing to Setanta just for the NRL coverage but 1 game a week aint worth it!

I'm hoping that the cut back to 1 game is temporary but it is worth getting for the fact that the Aussie version of Boots N All or SL Show is shown at 10pm on Thursdays.

I've got some compilation DVD's from when it first started in 2000 I think it was and it's fantastic.

Dear Keeley

I won't bother thanking you for your reply as it makes no sense and is a complete contradiction to your own advertising which clearly states that you will show a minimum of 2 NRL games per week.

I took out the Setanta subscription particularly for your coverage of NRL games and I am disgusted that you have come up with this pathetic reply.

As a company you have lied to your customers and have falsely advertised in order to enhance your subscriptions.

I shall of course cancel my subscription and have already sent the advertising standards agency and the BBC WATCHDOG programme a copy of your advertisment and this reply, in the hope that your blatent misrepresentation of your coverage is brought to people's attention and prevents them from making the mistake of signing up with your company.

For what it is worth ..... anybody else get this reply???
