Once again I think the RFL are making the game I love into a laughing stock, if this deal to buy the Bulls goes through I for one will be disgusted and very disappointed.

Morally bankrupt when players havent been settled from Crusaders.

Genuinely makes me feel ill. Total stupidity.

Have had my outburst on twitter and casforum, cant be bothered again.

How can this be!!!! I am s o dismayed at all this. How a club financed by the governing be in a competition??? Bad day for RL. Obviously Rangers are not iconic in football but what about our other great clubs in RL that have gone by the wayside??? What about the rest of our iconic clubs that are left ????? The governing body have helped make clubs bankrupt by their rules (stadiums etc) and now are bailing out one of them????
I like many other posters are struggling to put words on this!!!! Nothing makes sence anymore!!!!!
A Challenge - Please someone put a reasonable explanation together that explains the past, the present and the future.

Take note Halifax and Fev fans - you've no chance of SL.
This is the defining moment where the so-called upper echelon of the game in this country officially becomes what we all knew anyway - a closed shop!

Regarding Cas Tigers - we should now abandon out plans to move out of Wheldon Road - after all its an iconic stadium much loved by away supporters as well as the Cas faithful. We are losing players and supporters alike (lets be honest here) if the game cannot afford to lose 10K Bulls fans can the RFL also afford to lose Castleford Tigers ? or are we (and Wakey for that matter) just "expendable" ???

The governing body is a joke....would they do the same for us?....would they hell.

From now on my money will go to the Tigers only...won't visit Odsal again, or any final or international games run by that joke outfit.

They would have let us go and while we don't always get on i'm sure you understand they would have binned you too.

Expendable without a doubt.

just read what other fans are saying on our foram and i agree with every word yove all said.if cas give money to save the bulls we cas kiss goodbye to our new stadium.but what does that matter has long as bradford stay in there ground and stay in super league.as some 1 said its now a closed door.only certain clubs allowed in .i fear before long both cas and wakey will be shown the door.i for 1 will NOT be going to any games at bradford as much as im a loyal cas fan I WILL NOT BE PUTTING MY MONEY THROUGH A TUNSTILL AT BRADFORD.

I'm not happy and I've got more questions than answers so I'm awaiting the second statement where, hopefully, Super League Europe will be more transparent with their intentions, what the bid involves, who's footing the bill and also what happens beyond the end of the season if no buyer is found. Or hopefully, a journalist in the trade press will step up to the plate and do some good investigative journalism.

It's extremely unfair on clubs below that have gone to the wall, for example, Blackpool, who weren't provided the same opportunity. I do wonder what financial help other clubs who are actually living within their means will also get.

"Castleford's biggest home crowd of the 1991-1992 season wasn't quite 12,000 while on average they'd sit around 6000 but the noise, the chanting and the singing just blows you away" - Tawera Nikau "Standing Tall" "I can tell you the atmosphere was extraordinary at Wheldon Road on big days. The ground held around 15,000 people, every one of them close to the action on the field and the noise would be enough to send a rumble through the town" - Malcolm Reilly "Reilly - A Life in Rugby League":d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_39793.jpg

Bradford haven't even lost a player since going into administration! During the period of supposed finiancial hardship we've cut out wage bill more than they have. Utter disgrace, the game is as bent as a nine bob note and will always be a C grade sport with idiots controlling our great game. Poor old wakey were selling/borrowing players, left, right and centre whilst this crowd up at odsal .... icon_beat.gif icon_beat.gif icon_beat.gif icon_frustrated.gif

Top six 2005 - Trinity.:

I don't believe I will be attending any bulls away games from now on.

Depends on whether there is more information to come and what the information says.

Its a joke, they didnt lift a finger to help the polecats, blackpool, widnes, whitehaven, This just goes to show how bent this is becoming, how can the RFL own a ground and a team? Now some will say its SLE, i know and everyone knows this is round spherical objects (bollox)
Its the RFL who are dictating what happens, how can Wood be incharge of both RFL and SLE when they are supposed to be independant,

I give up, its more fixed than wrestling was on a satuday afternoon with Dikie Davies

Bent and Rotten to the Core

As I said on one of the post during the arguments about the ground. The smaller clubs need to stand together, this is a clear sign that there are fasionable and unfashionable clubs. Like someone said the smaller clubs are basically been forced out of business having to provide stadiums they can't afford. The super league want to reduce the size of the league and stick to the elite. I said during the last licences that the chapionship seems more honest in rugby terms and now sort of wish we had gone down. Playing in "our" iconic traditional grounds in a lower league where we would be very competative seems appealing today.

Not sure if Cas fans feel the same way but it isn't about rugby this league.
