| Yep I noticed that. Top scorer in the championship by some way. Great way to answer his critics. Only going to get better.
Another top clanger by the club, along the lines of Eden, Lunt et al.

| Look, I simply can't see at the moment how it is a clanger when he has signed for Leigh (with respect) and not a SuperLeague club.
The way people clamour for his inclusion on here is like he is Ellery Hanly. He is talented at that level at the moment, god knows I wish I was but it can't be described as a clanger.
Why the focus is on Eden and Arundel as a metaphor for all that is wrong in the club is beyond me when the dearth of academy product in the run on team and the top 25 players at the club is beyond me.
It's like the Sun writes some peoples opinions, but everyone is entitled to theirs. Next will be people blaming CTRLFC for Rangi leaving, when the truth is we could make him mayor, but he has made his own decision regardless of anything at Cas.
He will sign for Hull to "win things" and cite their ambition and professionalism as a club - becuase that is what you have to do when you sign. Then people will naturally assume that he is implying all the opposite things of Cas and we go round again. By Easter he will be pledging his loyalty to Hull, kissing the badge and wont be able to imagine himself anywhere else. Doesn't seem to matter how much Hull spend, they don't seme to be able to ge over the line. O'Meely, Fitzgibbon, Berrigan and the previous influx didn't work, so why would this?
Sometimes I do wonder if people believe the Sun. Maybe it is me. #that is all

| Mdean, I'd agree with the first bit about Brierley but I'm not sure how you can suggest Chase has made his decision regardless of anything at Cas. The reasons why Chase would want to leave Cas surely must be directly related to the things that are happening at our club, I'm not saying just Millward by the way more the general state of the club on and off the field.

I know substitutes play an important role in the game but the fact that as a half back / full back he can't nail down a starting spot in the championship might be a good indication as to why he wouldn't be retained.

Slightly disagree, nothing has materially changed at Cas since his four year badge kissing commitment. We were bottom 3rd then, skint, old stadium. The change is his stock and within him.
I pray he gets a visa/work permit, becuase otherwise we will be treated to the same again next season.

| Leigh are using Brierley well. He's the top try scorer in the championship, he has a bigger impact off the bench, ala rob burrow off the bench at Leeds, Clark is more effective off the bench. Just because he isn't starting doesn't mean he isn't any good. They are tactically using him to perfection. Would love to know his try to minute ratio.

Last week against Fax he scored the winning try with his first touch of the ball ,he came on last night with the first half nearly over , made a try which was disallowed for a forward pass , then ran riot in the second half , his partnership with Ridyard is very good .
We have a very good full-back in McNally , and Ryan comes on when the other team is tiring , and gets his tries .
I was suprised you have had Steve Nash back .

Also Greg Eden came up through Wakefield Academy anyway so it's not like he was purely created in Cas. You're spot on, players do as they wish and Cas are no more immune from this than any other club - they are all badge kissing local boys who love the club until there head is turned, this loyalty thing is utter guff. That's how it is, it's not as if Cas have not done it to ther clubs either. It's a game of sinners is RL.

Maybe it's me then but I certainly had a much more positive view and was looking at the future with optimism around the time Chase was signing his new deal, I actually thought with a new coach coming in and a stadium looking like it might actually happen we were going to be in a much better position than we were/are when he decided he wants out.

| Stadium is no more likely than it was in 2007.
Coach, well he is the most credible we have had since ........ Hmmmm, a very long time. Raper wasn't tried and tested and arguably looking at his record since leaving us proved that..... We have to trust, we have found people with things to prove short term... This is a long term gig or don't bother..... Like a director of rugby.
