| Some shocking decsions leting loads of foward passes go at one point he even indicated a goal line drop out
and then it was a 20 meter restart thought we was possible robbed by him today.

| Biased much?
He's a lot better ref than people give him credit, probably because he's French and looks like a chump.
Announcer called him Terry Albert, now he's a chump lol

| Poor yes, but not biased... at least he's poor for both sides. Having said that, Cas really got the thin end of his ineptitude in that last five minutes, when it counted.

| An embarrassment for both sides today in all honesty. I thought we came out on the wrong end of the penalty count but could be wrong and the decisions in between were a pretty 50/50 affair with the majority wrong calls.
He can't keep up with the pace of these superleague games and is constantly looking for other people to make decisions for him. I thought I read a few weeks back his superleague days were over and I think it's about time they were.

| I think that is the first time I have ever deen a referee change their mind. His head went the minute he gave a 20m restart after giving a drop out. If he, as the referee deemed it a drop out then that should of been how play was restarted. His integrity was shot at that moment.

Yet probably the most consistent we've seen all season, although that doesn't say much!

| absolutely Fumper. He lost all credibility at that point. I don't know how the Tomkins Knock-on at the end turned into a Wigan penalty - though for the same token McIllorum's disallowed try was grounded fine

The in goal judge told Alibert that the ball had been caught behind the line, so he was correct to change his decision and give the twenty metre tap.
On the penalty the Cas player was in front of Chase? when he went for the drop goal. I don't think Tomkins touched the ball but either way the Cas player was within 10 metres at the time.
It was Blake Green who had the try disallowed (maybe wrongly).
The overall penalty count was in Cas's favour,

| ... And the entire Wigan line, anticipating the DG attempt, were yards offside at the previous PTB. The cas player in front of chase was played on by Tomkins' knock on (we'll have to agree to disagree I suppose). Incidentally, Wigan's first two tries both had marginal passes in the build up (as marginal asthe ones Cas were penalised for) and their last try of the first half was scored off a final ball so forward a quarterback would have been proud of it. Those are the breaks with refereeing these days, but I think attempts to claim Wigan were just as hard done to on the day are going to fall largely on deaf ears in these parts.
Had it been Cas snatching it at the death I think I'd have been walking away whistling and counting my blessings. But in the end it was two decent teams with nothing between them, one of which got the very lucky breaks at the death. Pity it wasn't us.

| yeah tomkins definitely touched it - though I can understand if Alibert missed it as he was in front of tomkins and I was watching from the side.
but hey-ho, bring on Hull...

| It was a penalty because the Cas lads were within ten metres, so that's the first offence.
Something what needs clearing up is the charge down, some think it's back to one if they get the ball back, & some think the tackle count continues, in the two televised games it was wiped out back to one??
