Since the injuries in the forwards have bit we have had some floggings against the teams with the biggest packs in the league (Wolves away,Hudds now Catalans).

We now have Hull breathing down our necks in the league table(with a much better points difference), and we have Mr Child refereeing too

I am struggling to find any positives for Friday, i will cross everything and make my way to ground as usual but realistically without a bit of grunt up front Warrington could have a field day

I Had this out with a cas fan at game yesterday. How can you blame Mathers? Catalan ran riot at McG and Arundel yesterday but nobody picked up on that. Mathers was not to blame for catalan breaking our line for fun. Anyone who blames him is deluded.

C'mon guys we can't point the blame at one man alone. A defence consists of 13 men, collectively drilled together in keeping the opposition out, and taking responsibility for marking their man or their zone. We had that at the begining of the season.....and we need to get it back soon.

I'm sorry to say that I think we'll get a right hiding from the Wires, unless we focus on unsettling them somehow and not letting them play to their game plan. If TM is half as good as some think he is, then it is this type of game that is the proving ground. I don't expect a win, but any old coach could take us to a 40 or 50 pt loss and good one as some think TM is, could help us make a good account of ourselves!

Hoping it can't be any worse then our last game with wire, hoping.

We were on fire, white hot even that day though, i expect the game to be a lot closer than last time.

There's a section of our fans that don't think having a solid defence is important and that it's all about playing an entertaining brand of rugby, so prepare for a big score. I'll be there, but I think I'll be shaking my head in dismay more than I'll be clapping my hands in celebration.
