I'd certainly take him, especially with him being a local lad, but would be surprised if he was earmarked for 6, with Roberts being ready to hit the ground running after a great end to the year. With the lack of wingers in the squad at the moment, and not 100% sure what the situation with Carney is, we can't really move Solamona to FB, so may be looking at a successor to Dorn?.

From your comment that he's not good enough, presumably you've watched him play at stand off then? or are you basing your opinion on that knuckledragger at Wigin playing him out of position at full back.

I'm sure he has bags of potential, but would he get selected ahead of Ben Roberts (who granted started very slowly but was fantastic final 10 games or so)

I would take Rocky right away. Played Rugby with his older brother. Was always a class act. Still great now and only young. He can cover plenty of positions so will be great to have. Definitely and upgrade from Finn.

I'd take him off Wigan's hands but i'm not too happy about it just been for a year-long loan. We've been stung by doing this already with Snyd from Salford.

Bit of a turnaround, I wonder why the change of mind, and can you explain just how you got stung with Sneyd when he was a Salford player.

We gave Snyd a life-line. He was going nowhere with Salford. He excelled in the first 6 months of his loan spell. Salford knew we wanted him permanently but put a stupid price tag on him (100K). That scenario originated from the Chase deal. Cas and Salford wern't doing business with each other at the time. Only Hull FC were daft enough to pay for him.
