| How high up the table would Cas' be ? Top eight for sure, I feel.
Still, thank goodness the change WAS made eventually.

| Powell is a far better coach than the clown you had before him.
I am glad he's got a chance to shine.

| Next year is the test, if you loose RC, DC, and JT it will be hard to hit the top eight, trust me we have been there, but good luck and well done last night, no one can take that away from you

galliant - When Gutterfax stands alone in a thread out comes his alt account to make it look like he's got support.
Gutterfax - Yawnion patronising Troll
Lebron James - yet another Yawnion patronising Troll, born watching the wrong sport he knows his beloved yawnion is 100 behind League so tries to talk Yawnion up and league down.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_20989.jpg |

Daryl Clarke going nowhere. Steve Gill confirmed on radio interview the other day that he will be playing at cas next year.

Daryl Clark is staying and Rangi will until he says otherwise. But he's happy here according to Steve Gill.
JT is the only one going and he can be replaced.

| I have a soft spot for Castleford, always been a good grafting team with no big name stars or egos, and I really feared the worst when you appointed that gobbin to replace Terry Matterson. I thought John Kear would be the ideal replacement but Daryl Powell will do just as well, I think.
Good win over us for you Friday, the play offs are a good possibility if you carry that on

| I stated a few weeks back that Daryl Clarke will definitely be in a Cas shirt next year and Rangi til at least the end of the year but maybe longer. I just hope they both do now.
Maybe last year will be there last. If the season doesnt go to plan like the last few years, more than likeley our best crop of players will be annoyed with the same old bottom 6 finish. Just hope Powell is the man to change that.

| In respect of this thread, I think we were desperately unlucky at the beginning of this season not to have more points on the board.
We should have got something from Hull KR away, we should have beaten Wigan at home (where wrong decisions cost us) and we should have had a penalty vs Catalan to get us a win for the head high shot on Hauraki.

30462.jpg [b:3oz7jfnu]Wigan Warriors coach Shaun Wane told BBC Radio Manchester:
"Some people within the club [Castleford] have come out with comments saying we're beatable and it's a great game for them and they're very confident.
Many of the comments I've heard have been bordering on disrespectful.
They can be as confident as they want, but they're going to get a tough game this weekend and we'll be trying our best to make sure they don't get that win.
We've played in some big games over these last few years and they've not played in as many, if any, so to be that confident is very risky for them.
They come here with confidence because they've scored a lot of points and beaten us at home, but I wouldn't be overconfident if I was them."
[u:3oz7jfnu]Incidentally Wane's mob got stuffed 16 - 4[/u:3oz7jfnu] [/b:3oz7jfnu]:30462.jpg |

He has certainly turned the club on it's head and i believe if the club back him with squad building next season then we can really kick on

So who was going to give way to you to allow that - come on be realistic, top eight perhaps - for sure is either plain arrogant or daft.

My god more faces than the Town Hall clock - you were defending the Club and the Board when Millward was in charge - now you know what players are thinking - obviously your hotline to Millward has been re-routed to Powell, we mortals are not worthy.

Nail on head right there ^^^.
If it's true that luck balances over the season then we've still got some of the good kind to come this year and might well make the eight.
