Now the top 8 is officially settled and we're less than two weeks away from the play-offs, I thought it would be interesting to see how this year's table looks if you only include fixtures between the qualifying teams. Here it is, thoughts?
Meaningless. All it says is that the ones higher in the table perform badly against lower sides. A league is a league and to finish top of it, you have to be consistent throughout the year.
Arguably a few results could have been different and two games (Wigan and Warrington A) were before/after major cup ties so it's a bit unfair to consider these IMO.
Also, arguably we should have won at home v Saints had a wrong decision not gone against us.
