For a bloke who openly admits he hates Cas, this season must have been a tough one for him to stomach.

In all seriousness, we're most probably not going to get in the 8 because of our points difference and we would have to win both of our last games convincingly to do so. A couple of our key players have been rested for the remainder of the season since Bradford were doomed, which kinda tells you we're not holding out for the 8. So, we're mainly playing for bragging rights....not exactly our 'cup final'

In 2004 pretty sure Widnes got a win at Hull on the final day that meant even if we did beat Wakefield on the final day it wouldn't have made any difference...it was Widnes that sent us down.

Not having a go as I think Cas have had an excellent season whatever happens in these last couple of games but you're pushing it a bit with your "last 2 in both available pieces of silverware".
You might yet achieve that but certainly haven't yet.
