This season is just getting better and better. Last time we played at that level week in week out was when Stuart Raper was in charge.

Our first 7 matches?

Getting ahead of myself I know but it is possible!

1999 we won 5 in a row (but not first five) so we've equalled our best SL run

1986 we won first 6 I think

1969 I believe we won our first 8, drew our 9th then lost in round 14

New coach Darryl Van de Velde was unbeaten in his first 12 league games in 1988-89 before losing away at then bottom of the league Halifax on Jan 8th.
Though the 3rd match in the run was a 14-14 draw against St. Helens, so a run of 9 matches.
After 3 more victories, a disastrous 9 match winless spell saw them fade to 6th.

Agree with this.... Yesterday despite not being at our best we still did enough to deserve to win ( iv read a few people saying we didn't which I don't understand tbh...when you look at the stats we made more meters, more carries, made less tackles and made more clean breaks than Hull) you actually think about that it's scary how good we could be if we carry on improving at our current rate and DP has to take an immense amount of credit.
