| We might not have many internationals in the squad, but we have some very useful players, for the first time is a very long time, our coach ( Mr Powell,) will have a headache when it comes to picking the team for our opening games.
He will have to decide who starts at half-back with Ellis, Sneyd, Seymour, Dorn, Finn, & the youngster Reynolds, rather than Chase & anyone ells who might fit in.
At full back, we have plenty of competition, Tansey has the shirt at the moment, but if his form dips , there will be two or three players wonting to have there chance.
For some time we have been week in the backs, & when we lost Webster last season we found our selves playing forwards at centre, but next season we have a choice, Shenton will be better for a good pre-season, & hopefully Webster will regain his fitness, but if there is any problem we have Channing, & Gibson who are centre's & if the worst comes to worst, we have Marriano, who played centre for Wakefield & did a good job.
At hooker we have two very good youngsters, in Clark, & Milner, & once again if someone gets a knock, Liam Finn, can do a decent job.
In the front row we have lost young Walker, but replaced him with Andy Lynch, a player with plenty of experience to add to the team, & with Huby, Boyle, Massey, & Fleming we have a decent pack who are all Cas trained, we also have Scot Wheeldon, who might be better for us than he was for London, he already looks a lot fitter.
Our back rows look strong, with Hauraki, Millington, Holmes, Marriano, Martin, & Gilmore, vying for the shirts, as well has one or two of the props who can do a job in the second row.
The only position i think were week in is the loose forward position, Nathan Massey has the 13 shirt, but i can see us using either Clark, or Gilmore there this coming season.
So we seem to be covered in case injury's strike or loss of form, I can understand why Mr Powell is optimistic, when he has the biggest squad i can remember us having, & with all the players pushing each other for a place in the 17 every week it could be a good season.

If you live in a country where you can get arrested for fishing without a licence, yet you can't get arrested for entering that country illegally, then you know that the country you live in is run by idiots!

| Haven't been as excited at the start of the season for a long while. The pack is looking strong, strength and speed in the backs, and plenty of options in the halves. Let's hope we start the season with a bang and constantly improve as we go along, can see us making top eight if we stay injury free!
