seems daft to bicker about. Was a sluggish game for both teams and if you're going to judge anything this season on yesterday's result then you'd be neaive.

We had 9 players left out and Danny Orr in who hasn't played for 2 years.

Enjoyed the occasion and was nice to see old faces from Fax again.

Well said Dave I thought the game was a typical 'Friendly' TBH , Fax looked really good passing the ball and if they can keep young Ben Johnston fit and give him game time they will have a cracking player there , As for CAS we played pretty well and I was pleased we sneaked the draw , Thought Richie Owen looked good and Tansey looks fitter than ever this year .

All in all a good hit out for both sides that will have shook some cobwebs off and also raised a good amount for Chubbs.

Fev up next this Sunday in what will be a decent tester for our lads. Should be one or two back from injury as well - Huraki, Milner, Shenton and Gibson maybe. Might even give Webster a run-out.

This game should be a good barometer for both clubs; particularly with the new format fresh in the minds of players, club officials and fans.
