its still early days but lets give a lot of credit to basil and his backroom staff for the great displays so far. personally i never let last season bother me like a lot of other people, because under the circumstances it was just a matter of batting the season out with what we had and basically start a fresh, and so far it has been great to be a part of it. ever since the leeds game, some of the stuff basil has had to say about certain things has been a credit to him, he is rapidly becoming a proper cas lad, and i hope it continues like that for years to come. and having read one of his latest comments that the players are a joy to coach is absolutely marvellous to hear too. good man basil.

I would definitely dismiss droppng ellis - he's a natural replacement for Danny Orr. Marshalls the side well and was our senior half back yesterday, At 21 he has every opportunity to become a superb player, and he should be given that opportunity. He does very little wrong, admittedly in part due to his in-expansive game. But that compliments Rangi beautifully

and England don't have that many top 7's (brough and myler aside)

It wasn't the same touch judges that missed Rangis head high shot on Hardaker was it ? Still, Weller thought it was a fair tackle so he won't be complaining about a broken nose this week.

Knew it wouldn't be long until 1 of you lot came on here piping up. Some might say we got the return of serve last week when GOB was taken out late in the 3rd minute of the game. To be fair to Weller, he probably won't be complaining about a broken nose this week, unlike your hard man full back he couldn't wait to have a cry on twitter claiming he kopped an elbow.

I though GOB went well, he didnt see too much of the ball but tackled well, was unlucky not to break the line on a couple of occasions and scored a drop goal, happy to have him in the side.

Was a proud cas fan yesterday if a little frustrated with the ref, he seemed to give Catalans everything in the first half especially and at the end he missed an obstruction for there last try and the offside for our last drop goal attempt, had either of the decisions been made correctly and we would have won.

An excellent effort from 1-17 and the forwards stood up especially well, with notable mentions for shenny and tansey in the backs.

I thought Millington had his best game for Cas yesterday.
