We have been in the city of Wakefield since 1974.
Hard to believe, i know.

I've just watched it on Sky and I couldn't see anything wrong with it. Even if that try hadn't been given, the outcome of the game wouldn't have changed!

| To be honest I thought Wakey played well. They worked as a team, passed the ball well and hardly came up with any errors. We didn't play well at all though with too many errors and we were out muscled in the forwards. I thought that the likes of Youngquest, Orr and Owen played pretty well but Wakey were simply much the better side and the score line was a true reflection of the game.
The most disappointing think for me was that I just couldn't get that bothered about the game, which is more down to the franchise system. Neither of us will go down (as there's no relegation) and neither of us will make the playoffs (I guess wakey have a very outside chance, but in reality I can't see it) so it was just a case of going through the motions really.
I just can't wait for the season to end and I would be surprised if we get more than season ticket holders attending next week.

An arrogant Wigan fan a few days before we stuffed them 18-4 at the JJB.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_42181.jpg |

| The likes of Widnes, London, Bradford & Hull Kr have all posted scores of 40+ us this season, in fact the only team that won't post 40 on us is Salford. Don't get me wrong, Wakefield are playing well at the moment, but over the course of the season, they will finish in an average 9th/10th position. Wakefield this year have been average, we have been filthy, dirt, & have gone back dramatically.

| I'm not suggesting that Wakey are world beaters but they played well against Leeds and scored some nice tries against us yesterday. To be fair we've looked good in short bursts (against Huddersfield for example) but at the end of the day we are both way off the pace of the best teams in the league.

| In my opinion as a Wakefield fan at the game yesterday was Castleford were very poor and looked disinterested, and it`s hard to judge a performance from Wakefield against that. All i know is that i think Wakefield could have finished off alot more of there chances and if they had of come up against a top side would have been punished for that. Castleford as team seemed to have some good structures in place at times however it just looked to me as though that were was no effort there, i dread to think what that team would of looked like without Youngquest or Danny Orr who seemed to be the only ones who cared about giving a performance .
