True little rich, our support I would say is superleague level and is better than quite a few SL sides. The problem is that we don't have the infrastructure or the resources to be an SL side and that will remain so unless we get the new stadium. Thanks for the nice comment though and I will gladly return that in saying that I greatly miss our trips to the new Shay. Halifax are a great club, with great support and are certainly a club who I feel deserve a crack at superleague again.
I've really not enjoyed that much about the past few years as it seems that our future will not be forged on the pitch. It almost seems that the sport is kind of irrelevant as the main concern being a CAS fan is whether we can get a new stadium. If we are going to get our stadium then great, if not then I'd probably rather be playing in the championship where I can just focus on the sport and enjoy competitive games week in, week out.
At the end of the day, I go to Cas to watch exciting rugby, which means something and the franchise system has kind of killed that. Instead we're just a bottom half SL side playing for nothing, with the chance of finishing 8th the only realistic goal. The main action at our club (the stadium developments) are all hush hush and all we get told is that they can't tell us anything.
