I would imagine Nash was signed cos Millward thought he might be able to make the step up to SL in a full time training enviroment. As it turns out I don't think he has and with plenty of better props and 2nd rowers available for selection it seems a sensible move to let him go on loan.
Millward made no secret of the fact that Grehan was signed as a bit of a chance to see if he could make the grade in SL. As a young player who had gone pretty well in the Australian reserve grade it was worth a shot.
There's a 25 year old winger playing in the NRL for the 1st time this season - Andrew Everingham at Souths - who's having a wow of a season but prior to this one had only ever played reserve grade. Goes to show there are some gems if you can find em in the Aussie reserve grade.
SL clubs have signed players on much bigger wages that have turned out to be duds so I'm not gonna lose any sleep over these 2.
