Never got a first team game from Matterson and hasn't had one from Millward either. Especially looking at how well he is doing for Leigh and how much of that flair we are currently in need of! |

Well as we all know, young lads all develop at different paces. I hope for you that Milward is keeping a close eye on Brierley's performances.

That link was way back in jan, Ryan was changed to season long loan around 4 weeks ago but don't know if there is a recall clause, although would be surprised if there was. |

Matterson didn't rate him but the likes of Thornton did which probably helped with him getting a new contract. Millward rates him too but with him being at Leigh for the year getting experience....and if this season long loan has no recall (daft move if there isn't) then that could explain why he isn't in the first team...when quite clearly he should be. |

Jamie Ellis is a fantastic player as you will find out if you sign him for next season.
Re Ryan he is wonderfull in the Championship coming on as a strike player but if he was in your team this season I think he would be targetted by big fast running forwards .
Basil knows what he is doing' as you will find out after this season 'when he selects your squad.
Best coach we have ever had at Leigh'well at least in my 56 seasons of watching Leigh.
