Quote: Big Man "I take it we will be allowed in your clubhouse for a drink then seeing as though the Last Orders is for "Fev fans" only and the Lagoon is at the opposite end to the Railway end?'"

beer vending facilities are located all round the ground and will be easily accessible by castleford supporters , not sure on clubhouse issue , i believe that fans are to be kept apart as much as possible

Quote: gingdong "For me Cas lost that game for 2 reasons, 1st they have no plan B close Chase down and you close Cas down, I know for a fact Powell worked all week on closing him down it worked to a treat. 2nd was over confidence very nearly arrogance not 1 Cas fan thought there was a cat in helllls chance you could lose to us, highlighted by the easy chant after the 1st try, this obviously worked its way to the players. This was also obvious with the way the players got frustrated late on when it dawned on them they might just lose. Might just give you all a kick up the backside, never underestimate your opponent'"

Can't argue with that to be honest. I think going the length of the field in the first set and scoring in the next led the players to believe it would be easy, when it was never going to be. The bit I would contest is the comment about not one Cas fan thinking we couldn't lose it - I believe my first words when I heard the draw were something along the lines of "Poop we're out!" As potential banana skins go, that was a massive one, and it came to fruition.

It'll be interesting to see how Fev get on this week...

And even more interesting to see how cas go against wire after being beaten by part timers.

They'll either have had a kick up the backside and put in a decent performance, or fall flat on their backsides and get stuffed. My gut feeling suspects the latter to be honest. When you consider we went from two good wins; to almost beating Saints with 9 players; to that embarassment against Fev - it's perfectly plausible that a reversal of fortunes could be in store.

I think you're right and the way a team deals with victory and defeat is also a test of a teams character. I think like you that it will be either a barnstorming display or you will get hammered. This week and your result against wire will be a test of your coaches ability to lead and motivate. As said before there will be no middle ground with the quality of performance this week.
