In answer to a few of your questions.
1. I take it you've never parked on wigans car park or even your own where I've spent a similar time crawling up with the rest of the traffic. Stadium = traffic issues. Next time do some research and find somewhere better. Failing that stop whingeing
2. It's a new stadia they'll be seething problems at least you got in!
3. Instead of whingeing on here be pro active and voice your concerns the the stadium management.
4. When has there ever been lots of toilets in male areas. Ours is no different to most others.
5. We also only have 1 bar in the south stand yet we managed to get served perfectly well.
6. Unfortunately for you when the stadium was built they expected the home support to be in your stand so the mounting were put in-between the east and south stand. However we decided we wanted to be in south for numerous reasons. Hence why the screen is now in away stand as it is. I'm sure you'll agree that the home support should be accommodated before the away. Just like I would if i was at your stadium.
7. I'm pretty sure that the wafer thin bars are well within the required dimensions needed in a modern stadium
8. So its our fault if people are idiots and run onto the pitch, because you want 1980 style anti hooligan fencing. Get a life this is rugby not footie.

The points you make regards your stadium are certainly applicable to most stadium ive ever visited and im sure if we eventualy get into our new home we will find the same/similar issues - driving around junction 32 on a weekend is already a mundane experience and thats before a stadium is even there.
I look forward to attending your new home next year unless a c.cup game gets me there first, i was gutted not to make it at the weekend.
For the record you are not scum 'Manchester or Salford' (well most of you anyway ) and i would agree with MDEAN i would rather have your stadium problems than ours.

Lol...
I was annoyed not to make it to the game on Friday (bairn's birthday) as I wanted to see the new place, but I did manage to see the game thanks to Sky Go and a I-pad. It looked good on telly I have to say, and whatever teething troubles there may be I'm sure they'll get sorted out as the club bed in to the ground. As has already been said before, I wish we were in a position to be having teething troubles. |

For the record I think that (un)like The willows, Cas's ground is now the last of a dying group of old traditional stadia which have a certain something about them, whether it be character or just memories. I'll miss grounds like these as we all start to have sterile lego block resembling stadiums.
Although Wakey and Bradford would be the 2 exceptions to the rule. The quicker they're demolished the better |
