The club have stated that the UK based player is a forward in his early to mid twenties, so from the above list that leaves; Gil Dudson (21), Stuart Howarth (21), Mike Burnett (23), Lee Mitchell (23), Andy Bracek (24), and Ben Flower (24).

Still out??.....Well, the Warrington jury as seen enough to realise he's average at best.....I think its fair to say that, unless he suddenly becomes the new Ben Westwood overnight, then he's played his last game for Wire.

All the best with him, and he will undoubtedly produce the odd game where he looks very decent, but the majority of the time I'm afraid he will be pretty uninspiring.

So why is it a loan deal then? If he is so average why did Wire not release him?

Because he is very highly rated by the club's coaching and conditioning staff. I expect him to have a very good season for yourselves as a real work-horse back-rower, nothing flash but every team needs one, before returning to Warrington.

He's at an age where he needs to playing at the top level each week and whilst he wouldn't get that at Warrington I'd imagine he'll make the Cas 17 on a regular basis.

Obviously hoping Mitchell as a 'Scott Moore-at-Hudds' type of season and returns to have an impact in 2013.

While Wire staff and fans would undoubtedly like this to happen, I think a good majority of the supporters have seen enough of Mitchell to think lower end Super League/Championship, is probably about as far as the lad can go.
