| Quote who needs flankers?="who needs flankers?"We only have 100 tickets left max. out of 6,000. If Leeds have done the same with their 7,000 there will only be about 1,500 left with the RFL (assuming they sold about half their allocation). It is a bit of a close call. If the stadium was located say in Wakefield, then i'm sure it would have been a sell out easily.'"
I'm sure a stadium 14 miles away from Donny would have attracted 60,000...easily...or even better the RFL could have a magic carpet of a stadium which can land equal distance between any 2 towns, and change its capacity to the exact number of tickets needed.

| Keepmoat was ideal for this fixture, looked good to see the stadium almost full - same old same old about fans over estimating how many fans they'll take.
Really enjoyed the game, Rangi will be dreaming about that drop goal miss
Pity they played the Lds Utd song near the end!!

| Need to sort out the logistics next time.
Traffic was horrendous. Playing at a venue with all the fans going in same direction is ridiculous.

| Traffic was fine for me. We set off at half eleven and was in the pub for 12. Drive home was simple too since I just went straight through the centre of Doncaster and up the empty A19.

We set off on club coaches from 1:15pm. Got on to A1, was queuing - managed to ease off then when we got to turn off for M18 hit loads of traffic from fans not knowing what lane to be in. Took us until 2:45pm to get to the ground. Had to have a Police escort for the coaches because it was just ridiculous.
Next time, take it to a ground where you can get the train instead........say, the Galpharm.

| Well that's pathetic Fully. The club know where Donny is, they knew of roadworks so why set off and be in the traffic when everyone else is? That's why I never use the coaches.

Come on Marshy, it was a struggle for the club to organise which numbers they were going to give the coaches until 12:59pm causing mass panic. Why they couldn't give each bus a number once they arrived I don't know.
Besides, you'd normally expect that 2 hrs 15 mins to travel 25 miles would be ample enough time usually.

| its only a 25 minute walk from doncaster train station. i work in leeds, and have often got off the train from work and walked straight to the keepmoat stadium (for either donny rovers or the dons night matches). often see away fans especially for the footy, who walk from train station and have a few pub stop offs on the way. im sure 25 minutes isnt too far a walk, and if it is, there is a bus service from the bus station next to the train station
