Oh dear dear dear. Do you pop little children's balloons at parties, too? It must be awful being a cheerless curmudgeon.

| Quote Bavaria Crown Tiger="Bavaria Crown Tiger"Thought everyone played there part in the win today minus Walker for obvious reasons. Special praise imo must go to Jones who i thought was excellent throughout. Also thought Widders was good (charging to collect the Huby drop out was excellent!) and also Huby was immense, as has been discussed in the other thread. We have improved so much from last season. Imo we would have lost that game in the final 10-15 but there seems such a belief in the team and it's great to see. Long may it continue.'"
Totally agree with the Jones comment, i think he has really struggled towards the back end of last season and the start of this one, but yesterday he was immense, especially in defence, and would have been my man of the match.

| Happy with the result yesterday. However, by the end of the game I was spitting feathers at the amount of times we dropped the ball whilst trying to get over the line. Not good for the blood pressure!!
The players need to keep building on the wins, gain a little more confidence and be a little more decisive about the plays they do.....and don't make. There were separate occasions where Arundel, Chase and Ferres all could have gone over the line. However, by the time they had actually decided to go for it, the window of opportunity had gone, as had the opportunity to play to a man on the outside who could also have gone over. The confidence will come with game time, and we are off to a great start.
Roll on the Catalan game on Saturday!!

Doing this in the second half won us the game. That second 40-minutes was a very dominant performance by Cas, against a team who are not easy to dominate; and whilst chances were bombed, how many games like that did we play in last season where we simply couldn't create the chances in the first place?

I thought that the turning point in the game was just before half time when we kept KR out for 4 consecutive sets and broke away for Youngquest to score. Any other season we would have had our goal line defence broken and been at least 14 points behind, this gave us the impetus for the rest of the match. We do however need a centre that is going to get the ball to the winger, surely it's time to give Isa a run and put Ferres back where he belongs, at loose forward. I agree the forwards were immense and special praise should go to Emmet and Jackson for the work they got through.

| I would definitely get Ferres back in the forwards. He looked a little lost with ball in hand and knocked on a few times. However his defence is great. I would put Isa at Centre and probably start Ferres off Bench to cover back row and centres. He is great for playing in many positions.
One of my points also is about Hudson. Would anyone drop Clark or Milner to bring him back?

Whilst that was a turning point, and rather a fortunate one, we couldn't have won the game without completely overhauling our discipline at the break. I'm also not sure how Ferres is supposed to get the ball to his winger, when his winger fails (on several occasions) to come inside for the inside pass.

Exactly as were were discussing last night, he was giving the signals to youngquest, they need to talk to each other more
