Outline planning permission has already been granted for us. This is just handing in the final designs for the OK.

The fact is for the price of what you're paying to go and watch the game nowadays - the facilities aren't up to the value of the price of the ticket.

Now if i go to the cinemas, i'd expect a clean room and comfy seats for the viewing. I'd also not expect to have to queue too long for crammed toilets or packed out small bars.

It'd be the same with any kind of entertainment venue most would be paying a half decent price to visit.

I think you will find that "supporters" go to watch a game in a stadium which is well past it's sell by date and they accept that.

The match is the priority not the state of the seating and how long you have to queue for a pint.

With a bit of luck things will change soon and you will be able "support" again.

Whilst I agree with many that I'd still watch Cas no matter the state of the ground, you can't knock DJ Kyle for sharing his opinions and reasons why he doesn't watch Cas week in week out. Getting a shiny new stadium will hopefully bring back like minded fans as Kyle and also new fans to our club.

Having a pop at Man United and their fans in this thread (you know, the one where we're discussing the FPP handed in by RH and RW) is very very pathetic. As Cas fans we'll never achieve the success on or the field that Man United have done, but building our stadium will at least make us in to a modern sporting club, just like United.

The new stadium is to get a franchise (top flight survival) and start a new era but i will miss wheldon road.
Wheldon road has it's faults but i love the place, it has a lot of memories. I still remember being lifted over the turnstyle as a little kid by my dad at my first ever games.
40 odd years of memories and i still love the place, hope the new ground keeps me happy.
