Let's remember that Castleford had the nickname of 'Tigers' well before the introduction of Super Dooper League, in fact the tiger had been an integral part of our club badge for many, many years before.
So actually you wouldn't have to be too young to remember Cas being known as The Tigers (although I'm sure there are plenty who remember us as the Glass Blowers!)

Ignore him, he's just jealous that Cas won't be moving location now Wakefield are firm favourites for that last SL spot. A name change to Castleford Rovers is on the cards though.

2 years in S/L 2 financial crices and on towards the third club name, is that how a proffessional sports club should be run.
Bur dont worry, the RFL will break all its rules to get you out of this, shame they didnt help our scruffy neighbours or Blackpool, both who are more deserving than this failing experiment . As for expansion, no one else has wanted the game for over 100 years, what makes the clowns at red hall think the whole of britain is falling over itself to join in this game?
