Was an absolutely superb performance tonight against a near full strength Saints side at KR! Gutted for the lads as they gave it everything and had we kept the error/penalty count down and kicked our goals then we would have probably been looking forward to a game with Fartown on Saturday.

Very excited about next year with Mathers and Orr coming as well as Owen returning and other home grown players coming through. Walker is looking great and Arundel is also really stepping up to the required level. I feel that we could do with some more strength in the forwards but other than that I think we're looking really strong. Really looking forward to the Orr and Chase partnership.

Hopefully we'll also see the stadium build start and a new 3 year SL licence for the club as well.

Anyone else feel it was a little scripted that Cunningham ended up getting the winning try in his final game and they ended up with 10 points difference to earn them second??

Not sure that will happen, i believe it will be stand off mcgoldrick scrum half chase.
Orr will be interchange with hudson and maybe wih injuries orr might fill in at half back.

Shame it isn't stand off the pitch, total liability 99% of the time and at fault for 2 of Saints trys today with him not bothering going after the loose ball, and he can't pass! play him at stand off and it shows Mattersons ineptness.

Great to see the lads playing as a team and giving 100 percent, we lost but to compete at knowsley road and run saints close is a good place to be.

He was playing well until Clarkey said that then a minute later he let the pass from Chase that went behind him hit the floor, then he just stared at the ball until the Saints player picked it up and ran off

then the usual head high bullet pass which results in a knock on, and my favourite, standing there and letting Meli run by him without even attempting to stop him

Proud as punch. Gutted our season had to end on that note.

Gutted.. but a great effort tonight, and when we were 30-all I thought we'd get to the playoffs. Ah well, roll on next season!
